Description
Evertz is hiring an existing Broadcast Solutions Architect in Burlington, Ontario. The role reports to the Director of File Based Solutions and works with clients, account managers, R&D engineers, project managers, and executive management to architect, design, document, and sustain end-to-end broadcast and media facility solutions. Responsibilities include solution design, equipment selection, quotations, proposals, risk management, design packages, gap analysis, functional specifications, budgets, demonstrations, and technical authority through commissioning and sustaining engineering. The position requires broadcast and media workflow experience, electronics engineering or similar education, at least three years of file-based workflow deployment experience, and knowledge of broadcast IT, XML integration, and digital video compression. It is a Monday–Friday, 40-hour role with a salary range of $60,000 to $110,000 per year.
