Dialpad is hiring a Sr. AI Engineer: Systems to serve as an embedded senior back-end engineer on its Speech Team. The role owns production systems that convert speech models and third-party capabilities into reliable, scalable experiences for AI voice agents, including self-hosted inference, API and provider integration, observability, release infrastructure, and cross-functional leadership. It reports to the Senior Manager, AI Speech and can be based in Dialpad’s Canada Hub locations, with a target base salary of $173,400–$219,300 CAD for candidates based in British Columbia, Canada.
