Bandwidth is hiring a Network Development Engineer to design, build, and operate backend services, platform APIs, automation, and abstraction layers for globally distributed voice infrastructure. The role combines software and platform engineering with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, and scalable service design, including production deployment, observability, CI/CD, and 24x7 on-call support. Candidates need 6+ years of relevant infrastructure or backend engineering experience, strong programming and API experience, cloud and distributed-systems expertise, and familiarity with IP networking and voice protocols.
