The Sr Staff Architect (SQL Database) will design and manage secure, scalable, compliant, multi-tenant database systems for a healthcare SaaS platform. Responsibilities include database architecture, data modeling, encryption, access controls, HIPAA and other regulatory compliance, disaster recovery, data governance, performance optimization, EHR/EMR integrations, and secure CI/CD practices. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, 10+ years of enterprise technology experience, 7+ years in database architecture, and extensive experience with data pipelines, data lakes, distributed platforms, cloud services, and sensitive healthcare data. The position is based in Indiana and offers a salary range of $135,800 to $203,750 plus potential variable annual bonus and benefits.
