The role owns backend platform features, authentication, authorization, verification, fraud risk, distributed systems, security, compliance, performance, availability, and cross-team technical strategy. It requires extensive backend and software engineering experience, strong Python and API expertise, cloud and infrastructure experience, and the ability to lead architecture and mentor senior engineers.
