Dialpad is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own the platformization roadmap for shared services, architect reusable services, and execute projects that improve developer experience, productivity, security, and scalability. The role involves defining a 1–3 year roadmap, writing architectural designs, estimating resources, developing tested features, reviewing technical designs, and mentoring engineers. It is based in the Vancouver or Kitchener offices and requires a backend-focused software engineer with distributed-systems experience, strong debugging and communication skills, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field. The target base salary for Ontario is CAD 194,500–226,750.
