Description
Shuttlebase is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to design and build the systems powering its AI experiment engine, including distributed event-driven services, streaming pipelines, production agentic AI, data collection, and engineering standards. The role requires 8+ years of experience designing production systems, prior distributed-systems work, and a history as a tech lead or staff engineer. The team primarily uses Python on serverless AWS, JavaScript on the frontend, and Postgres alongside ClickHouse. The position is office-first in Midtown Manhattan, with four days per week in the office.
