Current is hiring a Staff Engineer, Machine Learning to join its Infrastructure team in New York. The role leads end-to-end ML engineering initiatives, including feature pipelines, training infrastructure, model serving, production monitoring, reproducibility, validation, and model risk management. It is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on improving the model lifecycle and delivering repeatable, measurable improvements, with the potential to grow into a team. The position requires substantial software engineering and ML platform experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and experience leading technical initiatives from ambiguous problems to shipped solutions.
