Attentive is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Onsite Customer Growth team to define and own the technical architecture of an onsite growth platform that powers personalized website experiences, list growth, and customer conversion at scale. The role is a hybrid position based in New York and focuses on backend services, APIs, distributed systems, observability, and cross-functional technical leadership with product, design, ML, and data science teams. Candidates should have 8+ years of software engineering experience, strong proficiency in a modern language such as Java or TypeScript, and experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, databases, caching, queues, and streaming.
