Samsung Semiconductor is hiring a Power and Thermal Simulation Engineer to develop and extend a trace-driven power and thermal simulation engine. The role integrates power macromodels, workload traces, and thermal solvers; manages time-indexed simulation flows; generates transient power maps; performs spatiotemporal hotspot analysis; and interfaces with reduced-order thermal models and CFD-calibrated solvers. The position requires strong C++ software engineering, simulation-framework experience, and familiarity with discrete-event or time-stepped architectures, with daily onsite presence at the San Jose, California office. The base pay range is $163,000 to $253,000 USD.
