Northrop Grumman Space Systems is hiring a Staff Software Signal Processing Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to provide technical leadership for radar digital signal processing software supporting identification and tracking of objects in geosynchronous orbit. The role leads architecture, algorithm selection, implementation, testing, debugging, research, documentation, and mentorship while remaining hands-on with code and performance-critical DSP pipelines. Candidates must have an active U.S. Government Secret clearance, experience with radar DSP, C++, Java, Python, CUDA, Linux, GPU optimization, and AI-enabled development tooling, and must be able to work in high-side development environments. The primary salary range is $161,000 to $241,400, with possible overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and benefits.
