Description
The Mechanical Designer will create and refine mechanical equipment designs and layouts using AutoCAD and Inventor, produce detailed drawing packages and equipment specifications, redesign components, resolve interferences, and support production systems. The role is onsite in Wilmington, North Carolina, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional overtime during peak project periods. Candidates need an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology or mechanical engineering, 3–5 years of professional mechanical design experience, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and the ability to interpret electrical schematics.
