Description
The Mechanical Engineer III will support the construction, installation, debugging, and startup of mechanical equipment and automated systems at domestic and international manufacturing sites, with the majority of time spent on the floor. The role supervises engineering technicians, maintenance staff, and contract trades; develops project plans and timelines; ensures safety; troubleshoots equipment; interfaces with system integrators and machine builders; prepares installation documentation; and procures materials. The position requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and at least three years of manufacturing equipment experience, with travel to North Carolina and overseas sites during project phases.
