Description
Live Oak Bank is hiring an onsite Software Engineering Intern for its 10-week Summer 2027 Internship Program, May 17 through July 23, 2027, at its headquarters in Wilmington, North Carolina. The intern will partner with engineers and business stakeholders to translate technology needs into technical approaches, build proofs of concept, read and work within existing codebases, write and test integrations between internal systems and third-party vendors, document designs, and present work to stakeholders. The role requires a computer science or computer engineering degree in progress, coding and Git experience, proficiency in at least one programming language, API knowledge, and regulatory awareness; AI coding tools, cloud platforms, system design, CI/CD, and financial-services experience are preferred. The base pay is $19.77 to $32.12 per hour.
