The Survey Field Technician III assists a Survey Crew Chief in operating a field survey crew and serves as the Junior Survey Crew Chief when the crew chief is unavailable. Responsibilities include field operations, operating survey instruments, following safety procedures, maintaining vehicles, and ensuring the safety of the crew, equipment, and the public. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of survey field operations experience, proficiency with land survey equipment, outdoor and walking experience, a valid driver's license, and successful drug screening.
