Description
The Space Systems Engineer performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems and information technology. The role includes designing and developing computer systems, translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, creating mechanical and electrical schematics, designing rack and cabinet installations, and performing power, heat, structural, and floor-load analyses. It also involves troubleshooting hardware and data-link issues, leading test-equipment teams, supporting Level 2 technicians and junior engineers, and producing technical documentation. The position offers a full-time salary range of $85,300 to $158,300 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
