The University of North Carolina Wilmington’s College of Humanities, Social Sciences and the Arts Academic Resource Center is hiring a temporary Academic Advisor for multiple positions. The role provides academic advising, course-selection guidance, major-declaration support, academic-performance monitoring, student-referral, and academic-recovery assistance to undergraduate students. The position works 10–29 hours per week, may require evenings and weekends, and pays $24 per hour. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with three years of progressive advising or student-support experience, or a master’s degree in a related discipline, plus experience with educational technologies.
