UNCW is hiring a Temporary Facilities Engineer for a multi-position assignment to support the Director of Utilities and Engineering in managing campus-wide energy and infrastructure projects. The role covers engineering design decisions, energy-saving projects, new buildings, infrastructure improvements, renovations, and whole-building modernizations, while coordinating with university departments and state and federal entities. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent training, a valid North Carolina driver’s license, and may require professional licensure or certification. It is a temporary, nonexempt role with a 40-hour work week, an anticipated range of $32–$45 per hour, and a closing date of 11/15/2026.
