NC State University’s Science House is hiring a temporary STEM Instructor to plan, prepare, and deliver project-based STEM instruction for elementary and middle school students in Imhotep and Kyran Anderson summer, fall, and spring camps and track-out programs. The role involves teaching planning, training, instructional techniques, technology use, and coordination with program staff, with a schedule of 5–10 hours per week varying by program. Applicants need a BS or BA in mathematics, science, technology, engineering, or education, at least one year of related work experience, and preferably a current North Carolina science, technology, engineering, or mathematics teaching certificate or a master’s degree in a STEM field. The position pays $25–$30 per hour and offers temporary-employee health insurance and other benefits.
