Description
The Transcript Evaluator evaluates academic credentials, official transcripts, examination scores, military records, foreign credential evaluations, and other educational documentation to determine transfer credit eligibility and course equivalencies for students enrolling at Cape Fear Community College. The role maintains student records, enters evaluation data into college systems, communicates results, supports degree audits and reverse transfer initiatives, collaborates with academic departments and Enrollment Services, and assists with staff training and process improvement. The position requires an associate degree from an accredited institution and two years of experience in a registrar, admissions, enrollment services, or related higher education environment, along with experience with transfer credit evaluations, degree audits, FERPA compliance, and accurate student-record processing.
