Moffatt & Nichol is hiring a Transportation Engineer – Roadway for its Raleigh, North Carolina office to perform roadway engineering design from preliminary through final stages for North Carolina Department of Transportation, municipal, private-sector, and potentially international projects. The role includes developing specifications and cost estimates, preparing bid packages, coordinating with regulatory and government agencies, managing client communications, and supporting project decisions on technical approaches, cost, schedule, and performance. The position is primarily office-based with occasional site visits and requires a civil engineering degree, 8–12 years of roadway design experience, a Fundamentals of Engineering certificate, and OpenRoads Designer production experience.
