NC State University is hiring a Veterinary Surgical Assistant for its CVM Teaching Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role provides advanced surgical support across companion animal and equine/farm animal centers, including surgical preparation, sterile technique, intraoperative assistance, anesthesia and isolation support, surgical equipment and instrument sterilization, room turnover, inventory, scheduling coordination, and mentorship of veterinary students and residents. The position is mandatory on-site, requires holidays, weekends, and on-call availability, and offers a salary range of $45,500 to $49,200. Applicants must complete an accredited veterinary training program or have equivalent training and experience, hold a valid North Carolina driver's license, and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
