Animal Eye Care Associates is hiring a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant for its specialty ophthalmology team in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The role supports veterinarians with patient handling, histories, ophthalmic examinations, diagnostic testing, surgical preparation, sterile technique, anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement, blood draws, laboratory samples, medication administration, patient care, and client communication. Candidates need previous veterinary technician or assistant experience, strong patient-care and technical skills, and the ability to handle dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments; North Carolina registration or eligibility is preferred for RVT candidates, while ophthalmology or specialty experience is a plus.
