BharathCloud Plans to Hire Over 500 People as It Opens a Second Hyderabad Office
BharathCloud plans to hire over 500 people as it opens a second Hyderabad office. See which network, Linux and sales roles are open and how to apply for them.

BharathCloud, a sovereign AI cloud services provider, has opened its second Hyderabad office and plans to hire over 500 employees across technology and business functions. The new office sits at Mindspace IT Park, HUDA Techno Enclave, HITEC City. The company has not put a timeline on these hires, so this is a hiring plan, not a list of open vacancies. For Metaintro readers in Hyderabad's tech workforce, this guide covers which teams will grow, what the roles already listed on the BharathCloud careers page ask for, and how to apply.
What Exactly Did BharathCloud Announce in Hyderabad?
The announcement covers a new office, a hiring plan and a planned operations centre. The office is spread over about 10,000 sq ft and will support the company's cloud and AI infrastructure business, with details shared in a statement on Tuesday, October 27.
The office will also house a planned Global Network Operations Centre (GNOC), aimed at strengthening infrastructure monitoring and service reliability. That centre is still at the planning stage, with details of the centre's launch and capabilities to come in a separate update from the company.
BharathCloud is Hyderabad-based and started its journey in Hyderabad in 2021, and the city has remained central to its growth. Co-founder Rahul Takkallapally said the new office reflects investment in talent, infrastructure and capabilities for Indian and international markets.
Is the Hiring Figure a Set Number of Openings?
No. The number describes people the company plans to bring on board. The Times of India puts it at more than 500 employees across technology and business functions. The Hindu's account of the release gives a flat figure, saying the company plans to onboard 500 employees across technology and business functions. None of these accounts comes with a year, a quarter or a headcount for each team.
The plan also mixes technical and non-technical work. Customer support and business operations sit in the same list as the technical teams.
For a sense of scale, in February BharathCloud had a workforce of over 200 employees serving more than 1,500 clients.
Which Teams Will the New Office Hire For?
Six areas are named. The hiring is expected to span cloud engineering, AI infrastructure, network operations, cybersecurity, customer support and business operations.
- Cloud engineering and AI infrastructure. BharathCloud's offerings include IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, AI/ML, HPC, plus AI-powered smart storage and KaaS (Kubernetes-as-a-Service).
- Network operations. The planned GNOC is meant to improve visibility across cloud services and support the company's focus on operational resilience and service reliability.
- Cybersecurity. The company's platform is built for compliance with global standards such as TPN and HIPAA.
- Customer support and business operations. These roles round out the list and open the door to people outside engineering.
The expansion is meant to create opportunities for talent in Hyderabad's established technology ecosystem, the same city where DoorDash plans its own Hyderabad jobs push. No pay bands for any of these teams were published with the announcement.
This new office is more than an expansion of space. It represents our investment in talent, infrastructure, and the capabilities needed to serve a growing market, co-founder Rahul Takkallapally said, according to the VARINDIA report.
Which Roles Are Open on the BharathCloud Careers Page?
The careers page shows what BharathCloud is hiring for now. On its current page, BharathCloud lists technical roles including NOC Manager, Solution Architect, PostgreSQL Developer, Linux System Administrator, L2 Network Engineer, Senior Windows Engineer and Full-Stack Developer at two levels.
Non-technical roles sit alongside them. The same page lists an Accounts Team Lead, Inside Sales Executive, Field Sales Executive, Project Manager and HR Business Partner, plus a Senior Cloud Sales Executive based in Bangalore or Hyderabad.
Every listing on the page is marked as a Full Time role, and all but the senior sales role are located in Hyderabad, India. The page does not say which of these roles belong to the new office or to the hiring plan, and none of the listings shows a salary.
What Do the Technical Listings Ask For?
Each listing spells out experience and skills, and several name preferred certifications, so you can check your fit before you send anything.
The NOC Manager listing requirements include 5+ years of experience managing NOC or similar infrastructure operations, hands-on work with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. The role will lead and mentor the NOC team ensuring 24/7 operations coverage, and preferred certifications include AWS Certified SysOps, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent.
The L2 Network Engineer listing requirements include 4-6 years of hands-on experience in network engineering / administration (LAN/WAN, enterprise network environment). It wants routing experience with OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc., and a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or related field.
The Linux System Administrator listing requirements include 3-5+ years of experience administering Linux servers in production environments, scripting in Bash, Perl, Python, and knowledge of KVM, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes. The role includes on-call rotations for critical system coverage and recovery events, and preferred certifications are RHCSA, RHCE, LFCS or equivalent.
Senior roles set a higher bar. The Senior Windows Engineer listing asks for 6-8+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise Windows server environments, while the Solution Architect listing asks for 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical presales, or customer-facing technical roles.
The day-to-day work is spelled out too. The Linux administrator will work closely with operations, DevOps, and support teams to deliver stable and scalable systems, with duties that include patching, upgrades, backups, and n + 1 redundancy planning. The Windows engineer will manage Active Directory, Group Policy, file/print services, DNS/DHCP and related Windows infrastructure and collaborate with cloud, hybrid, and on-prem teams to integrate Windows services with Azure/AWS and modern infrastructure models. Automation runs through both posts, and the Windows listing asks for scripting in PowerShell, Bash/Python for cross-platform tasks.
Are There Openings for Early-Career and Sales Candidates?
Yes, though the bar still starts above zero. The Full-Stack Developer L1 listing asks for 1-3 years of experience in software development or web application development, with front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and a JS framework such as React, Angular, Vue.
That listing also names projects and internships. Its preferred skills include experience in full-stack projects (front-end + back-end) or internships in relevant web technologies, so a strong project portfolio carries weight.
Database specialists have a mid-level route. The PostgreSQL Developer L2 listing looks for a developer with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in database development and optimization. Duties in that role include work to design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and PL/pgSQL functions and to mentor junior developers and participate in peer code reviews.
Sales roles are open to people from business backgrounds. The Inside Sales Executive listing asks for 2+ years of experience in inside sales or B2B software/IT sales and a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. The Senior Cloud Sales Executive listing asks for 3 to 6 years of experience in cloud sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
As businesses adopt more cloud and AI, reliable infrastructure and responsive service delivery become increasingly important, CTO and co-founder Padma Reddy Sama said, according to the Deccan Chronicle report.
What Is the Global Network Operations Centre, and Why Does It Matter for Jobs?
At BharathCloud, the NOC Manager is expected to ensure 24x7 uptime, oversee incident management, and maintain infrastructure reliability. Padma Reddy Sama, who has over 17 years of hands-on experience in managing public cloud infrastructure and data center operations, said the planned GNOC would give teams greater visibility across infrastructure and services, helping them identify and respond to operational issues more effectively.
The centre is linked to customer growth. It is meant to enable faster response to operational issues as customers scale cloud and AI adoption.
The open NOC Manager post shows what this kind of work involves. The role covers tasks such as to monitor systems and network infrastructure performance proactively, manage escalation procedures for major incidents, and generate reports on uptime, SLA compliance, and incident trends. The listing does not say whether the post is tied to the new GNOC.
How Does This Fit BharathCloud's Wider Expansion Plan?
The Hyderabad office is one part of a larger build-out. In January, the company appointed JLL as its exclusive advisory partner to support the development of AI-ready sovereign cloud infrastructure across India and select international markets.
The money behind that plan comes with conditions. BharathCloud plans to invest up to $100 million over the next five years, subject to board approvals, financing arrangements, regulatory clearances and market conditions. The rollout is meant to reach metros including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Kolkata and Pune, plus cities such as Visakhapatnam, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Coimbatore, Kochi, Chandigarh and Bhopal.
The first centre has launched in Hyderabad. In May, BharathCloud launched its first AI-ready Sovereign Cloud Centre at CtrlS Datacenters' Hyderabad DC1 facility, which the company tied to that same five-year investment roadmap. In an interaction with Dataquest, co-founder Rahul Takkallapally described BharathCloud's focus as secure, localised, and cost-effective solutions that prioritise data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, low latency, and enterprise resilience.
The Hyderabad plan follows an earlier hiring push. In February, BharathCloud opened a Delhi office and planned to onboard more than 100 employees in 2026, and it listed operations in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Chennai.
How Do You Apply for a BharathCloud Job?
The process is simple and runs by email. Each listing tells candidates to send your resume to hr@bharathcloud.com, and the same instruction appears on the L2 Network Engineer listing.
- Start on the careers page. The BharathCloud careers page lists each opening with a team label such as Technical, Sales, HR or Finance & Accounting.
- Name the role. Put the exact job title in your email subject, since one inbox handles every listing.
- Mirror the listing. Show the specific tools each role names, for example Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana for the NOC post or OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc. for network engineering.
- Watch for new posts. The page does not yet mark any role as tied to the new office, so check the open positions list again over the coming weeks.
The company's own pitch to candidates highlights continuous learning and development and health, wellness, and flexibility.
What This Means for Job Seekers in Hyderabad, and What Should You Do Next?
Treat this as a hiring pipeline, not a single hiring day, and check the careers page regularly rather than once.
Infrastructure specialists have several doors open today. The technical openings on the careers page include NOC, network, Linux and Windows server roles, which fit the cloud and AI infrastructure business the office will support. If you hold a CCNA, RHCSA or AWS SysOps certificate, those names appear in the preferred skills on the NOC Manager listing and the Linux listing.
People outside engineering should not rule themselves out. Customer support and business operations are part of the planned hiring, and sales roles are listed on the careers page. Freshers face a tougher start, since even the Full-Stack Developer L1 listing asks for prior experience, but internships and full-stack projects count toward that listing's preferred skills. A graduate with a portfolio of web projects has something concrete to show against that list. The careers page shows no salary for any role, so pay is a fair question for a first interview.
The wider picture matters too. Rachit Mohan, APAC lead for data centre colocation leasing at JLL, described India's data centre market in January as poised for rapid expansion, driven by AI infrastructure build-outs, cloud adoption, 5G deployment and government-led digital initiatives, and India's global capability centre hiring outlook points in the same direction for tech job seekers in cities such as Hyderabad.
Lacey Kaelani, Metaintro's CEO, puts it this way: A cloud company grows on the people who keep its systems running, so apply for the role you can do on day one and learn the rest from the inside.
