Description

Altasciences is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Human Resources (on-site) for their nonclinical research site in Scranton, PA. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business and global HR strategies, acting as a senior advisor to management and leads on employee-related issues, and fostering a positive work culture focused on employee retention and productivity. The Associate Director will manage and coach HR staff, analyze HR data, resolve complex employee relations issues, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities.
3+ years related experience in management.
Preferred Qualifications: SHRM-CP/SCP or HRCI-PHR/SPHR professional designations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees, HR, and leadership, including in presentations and meetings.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities.
Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.
Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must be self-directed, motivated, and have a willingness to take the initiative to identify and anticipate company and employee needs and make recommendations for implementation.
Relevant industry experience.
Solid ability to define problems, collect data, and establish the facts.
Software knowledge in MS Office, Workday knowledge an asset.
