NBCUniversal is hiring a hybrid Broadcast DevOps/SRE Engineer to own the engineering, operations, support, deployment, and maintenance of core IP video distribution and playout systems across on-premises and cloud environments. The role develops automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, reliability improvements, cloud infrastructure, and scalable solutions; mentors SREs; investigates broadcast issues; and provides rotating 24/7 on-call support. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, extensive experience with IP video, streaming, broadcast, cloud, networking, Kubernetes, Linux, and automation, and must be comfortable with an agile, fast-paced environment.
