Description

Altera is hiring an EDA Software Engineer for its Database, Infrastructure & Tooling (DBIT) team to build and maintain C++ and Python data models for FPGA devices, develop high-performance APIs for synthesis, placement, routing, timing, and power analysis, and create tools that support FPGA device bring-up. The role is based in San Jose, California, and requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field plus 4–8 years of experience depending on the degree, along with strong C/C++ and Python programming skills.
