ITAC is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for a seconded, full-time contract assignment with a client in Wilmington, North Carolina, anticipated to last 1–2 years. The role provides hands-on engineering support for equipment construction, installation, debugging, startup, troubleshooting, personnel training, procurement, and project planning, while overseeing internal teams and contract personnel. Candidates need a bachelor’s or higher degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, 2–7 years of manufacturing experience, mechanical-systems knowledge, and the ability to interpret engineering requirements into designs and schematics. The typical base salary range is $80,000–$130,000, with health, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
