Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Principal Software Developer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key technical role in shaping the design and evolution of backend cloud services operating at a global scale. Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and evolution of backend services, APIs, and core server-side systems, taking ownership of complex technical problems, contributing to architectural decisions, and driving scalable, reliable solutions. The role involves working on large initiatives, guiding design discussions, reviewing technical designs, collaborating with cross-functional partners, identifying opportunities for architectural improvement, system optimization, and operational excellence, while mentoring and supporting other engineers.
