Description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Program Manager within their Global Supply Chain organization to lead a team of supply chain professionals supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program. The role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring supplier performance against cost, schedule, and technical requirements, and contributing to program cost and schedule goals. The successful candidate will also shape team member careers and engage in supplier negotiations. This position requires extensive travel (~30%), and the ideal candidate will be based near the Lockheed Martin Space facility in Denver, CO.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 6+ Years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management.
Previous leadership experience in a teaming environment.
Previous professional experience with acquisition policies and procedures as well as Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) guidelines.
Previous professional experience with procurement and subcontract management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the Defense Industry.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Cost Account Management (CAM).
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Integrated Product Teams and/or Supplier Management Teams
Business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
Demonstrated Risk Management experience
Knowledge of Avionics systems/suppliers
Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM)
Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
