FreeWheel is hiring a Sr Software Engineer for its Software Engineering for Audience and Measurement (SEAM) team to lead complex technical design and delivery of audience, identity, measurement, automation, analytics, and cloud-optimization solutions. The role is a hands-on individual contributor who partners with Engineering, Finance, Product, Architecture, Data, Platform, and SRE teams; leads optimization initiatives; builds cloud-native services and data pipelines; supports FinOps and forecasting; and mentors junior engineers. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, typically 5+ years of software engineering experience, cloud and data-platform expertise, and strong collaboration skills. The Illinois pay range is $129,515.93–$194,273.89.
