Description
Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer 2 in Austin, Texas to provide senior-level z/OS systems administration and mainframe support for agency applications and infrastructure. The role includes configuration, break/fix support, security and performance monitoring, user account administration, capacity planning, troubleshooting, release and upgrade support, and coordination with network, customer support, and applications development teams. The position requires five years of z/OS systems programming experience, along with experience in JES2, OMVS, SMS, TSS, performance monitoring, and REXX; several additional mainframe technologies are preferred.
