Description
VGS is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer, Payments Quality to own quality standards and automated testing for its high-throughput payment systems. The role focuses on end-to-end regression suites, high-concurrency performance and load testing, AI-assisted test automation, emulators for external payment systems, observability, and incident prevention. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience in quality engineering, test automation, and performance testing for distributed systems, along with Python or TypeScript/Javascript, REST API and microservices testing, CI/CD, cloud-native tooling, and data validation experience. The position is remote-first, with hybrid work available for candidates within 30 miles of an office, and is open to applicants in multiple United States and Canadian locations.
