Description
Salesforce is hiring a distributed-data-services software engineer to build and operate highly available, reliable, and scalable backend services for Slack, including edge caches, enterprise key management, international data residency, image uploads and downloads, and proxying. The role requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, at least 10 years of professional experience building and operating large-scale systems, hands-on production infrastructure experience, and deep expertise in safe distributed systems. Go, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and regulated-environment experience are bonuses. The typical base salary is $197,300–$313,700 annually, with $237,700–$344,700 in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas.
