NVIDIA is hiring a Software Engineer for its Developer Tools group to develop GPU performance foundation libraries, Nsight tools, assembly tests, and a CUDA- and GPU-assembly-based validation framework. The role involves hardware-event and counter development, emulator-based debugging, documentation of data-processing workflows, and collaboration with the Hardware Architecture team on performance triage and foundational software libraries. Candidates need a B.S. in EE/CS or equivalent experience, strong C/C++ and Python skills, low-level assembly knowledge, hardware pipeline understanding, and experience with performance analysis, hardware accelerators, simulators, and emulators. The base salary range is 152,000–241,500 USD for Level 3 and 184,000–287,500 USD for Level 4, with equity and benefits.
