Penn State’s Applied Research Laboratory is hiring a Research and Development Engineer - Artificial Intelligence to research and develop machine learning systems and algorithmic solutions for complex multivariate-data problems. The role involves designing and implementing models, selecting and modeling data, visualizing data, performing statistical analysis and data fusion, building software prototypes, and collaborating with ARL staff and sponsors. The position is fully on-site in State College, Pennsylvania, or Reston, Virginia, and offers three professional grades with 5, 14, or 19+ years of relevant experience depending on the grade. The salary range is $146,040 to $318,840, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and tuition benefits.
