Description
The Human Resources / Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator develops, administers, and implements companywide and departmental occupational safety programs, including safety orientation, training, inspections, hazard analysis, compliance reporting, accident investigation, and safety standards for electrical utility areas. The role coordinates safety personnel, advises management and employees, leads safety teams, and provides guidance to less experienced occupational safety personnel. Requirements include a university degree or community college diploma in a related field, ten years of safety-related work experience in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations, strong organizational and communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
