Description
The Human Resources Manager oversees the administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources function, with a strong focus on labor relations, employee grievances, coaching, counseling, discipline, HRIS and payroll systems, benefits administration, compensation, employment law, and employee classification. The role also manages recruitment and interview processes, employee recognition programs, separation documentation, exit interviews, and representation at personnel hearings and arbitrations. Candidates must meet age, education, licensing, and experience requirements, with a bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience or alternative management and human resources experience options; PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
